As the HR and People Manager at Lakeland Arts, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of HR and people management for a diverse team of staff and volunteers. Reporting directly to the COO (Chief Operating Officer), you’ll be the go-to person for all HR-related matters, ensuring the organisation’s values are upheld and a positive workplace culture is fostered. Your responsibilities will range from recruitment and induction to performance management and employee relations, with a strong emphasis on supporting line managers and driving strategic objectives.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR generalist with a creative approach to employee and volunteer recruitment, retention and people development.  To ensure the HR function adds value to Lakeland Arts you will coach and mentor line managers across Lakeland Arts ensuring they are confident and competent in developing and managing their team. You will work closely with other department heads to ensure the organisation’s overall working culture is seen as positive and supportive.
